"Working with Debra was a pleasure from start to finish. Her depth of product knowledge is so extensive that there wasn't one question she couldn't answer whether about a range of products or a method of achieving a certain look. Debra showed me just enough options so that I felt central to the decision-making process, but never overwhelmed. "Debra Kacher was instrumental in the renovation of my house in 2008. This was the first time that I had employed the services of an Interior Designer and my main concern that it would prove to be a costly and disappointing exercise, with someone imposing their own taste on my home. Working with Debra was a revelation. One of her many strengths is, I believe, helping the client to articulate and express their own taste. Though careful probing, concept / mood boards development and store visits, Debra and I worked as a team to reflect my personality and ideas in the house, whilst working to budget. "Debra took on the extensive refurbishment of my one-bedroom flat in West Hampstead. She was involved in all aspects of the refurbishment, from colour choice to bespoke wardrobes, and sourced all materials and suppliers. The task was made especially challenging because much had to be achieved with a relatively small space. In addition, the whole project had to be completed within a specific period, which required substantial planning and foresight. In the event, the work was all completed on schedule and the end result is stunning. All the materials and suppliers used were of the highest quality, and at the same time there was close control of costs and budget. Debra not only demonstrated a high level of expertise and an excellent knowledge of design options, but was also efficient and approachable throughout – often contacting me unprompted with progress updates and always keeping me fully informed.
